WHO IS THIS REALLY!

I was at my heaviest at this point, but soon I will go to surgery. I will tell you some of the things I have been sharing these past days. I have to drink sugar-free, low cal. drinks. I have to have 64 0z of fluid and 100 grams of protein, if I don't follow this I won't loss the weight or get my liver health. This diet is to make my liver as health and without fat as it could. My stomach is the size of a football, but will be the size of a small egg when done. The flap at the end of the stomach will not be there so I have to be careful about not drinking when I eat for if I do I will "dump" it out in five minutes. For the first few weeks I will have to force my self to drink 4 oz of water an hour just so I won't dehydrate. This is (and maybe will be) the biggest thing I have faced and will do. I hope to walk through this well and keep it up for the rest of my life. 8)

IT"S TIME TO CHANGE

Hi I'm Vicki Gosney.

I am going to have Bariatric surgery June 28 2010. I will keep a blog about my surgery, losing weight, and daily life. I hope it helps someone else.

I am very picky about stuff, but now I am ready to change. My mom died in November (2009.) She died of liver failure and she never drank a day in her life. The doctor said it was because she was heavy to long. My heart went into shock after I heard this. Six months after we heard this news, she passed away. In December I saw my first video about Bariatric Services and two weeks later went to my first appointment.

My family doctor has had this surgery done, and she is now helping me to get this done (she ordered all the tests and such.) She is very kind and understanding, and I have known her since she was in college and overweight.

I went to a therapist to get my counseling (I am scared of big groups.) My therapist said in two years never saw me in a better way of life, than now.

Now, I am heading to surgery and doing my two week liquid diet.

HERE I GO!
